Shoresh Charitable Trust

For applicants of Jewish faith on any BA (Hons), MA or MFA course.

The Shoresh Charitable Trust aims to promote normative Judaism through direct help for individual charities which are well established in Israel, Europe and the USA for Jews in need and to help them develop both their faith and well-being. The fund is to help applicants of Jewish faith on any BA (Hons), MA or MFA course.

COURSES: All undergraduate and postgraduate MA/MFA applicants

ELIGIBILITY: All applicants who are of Jewish faith. Home/EU/Overseas/ELQ.

VALUE OF AWARD: Up to £5,000 per applicant

NUMBER OF AWARDS: Up to 4

APPLICATION DETAILS: Students will be contacted over the summer with details on how to apply. As part of the application, students should briefly describe their current financial need, their engagement with the Jewish faith and will also need to demonstrate, as part of the application, parental Jewish heritage (for example, a copy of their parents’ ketubah) or Jewish status (which may be evidenced by a conversion certificate).
