Private Halls of Residence

Private Halls of Residence

Sterling Court (Wembley) Bedroom
iQ Accommodation's Sterling Court Bedroom

Some of our students choose to live in Private Halls of Residence. These privately managed student halls are not owned by Universities: most of these are owned by commercial companies and some are run by charitable institutions.

Rooms usually have their own bathroom and shared access to kitchen facilities, however studio rooms have their own individual kitchenette. Rent is usually inclusive of bills and Wi-Fi access, however there are additional charges to use laundry facilities. Private Halls sometimes have onsite gyms and social spaces.

Rooms in Private Halls can vary in price depending on the length of contract, size of the room and location. Students should consider what their commute to Central will involve and remember to budget for the cost of public transport. Generally, they are a more expensive form of accommodation, however they can be a straightforward way to organise your accommodation and energy costs do not fluctuate as they are inclusive with the rent. It can also be a good way to meet other students studying at different institutions across London.

The halls listed below are within walking distance or are commutable to Central. We are have also listed the London booking pages for larger private hall providers that have various sites across the city. Please use either the Transport for London Journey Planner, Google Maps or Citymapper to plan your commute before signing an contract or license agreement.

For more information on private halls, please contact us at sas@cssd.ac.uk.
