Central in collaboration with Imperial College presents, ‘Performing Under Pressure’

Using proven technical exercises derived from performance and training methodologies participants will practically explore how to use breath, voice, speech, body language and performance techniques to increase creativity, ability to collaborate and strategies to perform under pressure as a team.

Participants will practically explore the process an Actor goes through to get themselves ‘performance ready’. Participate in techniques to unlock creativity and encourage spontaneity. Learn tools to manage nerves and harness positive energy.

Participants will discover innovative and dynamic approaches in creating dramatic stories & tapping individual creativity – themes covered include; performance practice, conquering nerves, audience engagement, content management, vocal power & colour, creative collaboration & storytelling.

  • Building an awareness of individual communication style and habits
  • Exploring how to manage nerves and harness creative energy
  • Using confidence/creativity to articulate a vision and emotionally connect
  • Developing a tool-kit of storytelling skills to motivate and inspire any audience
