Federal Student Aid - Important Information and Policies

Withdrawals and return of Title IV funds

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama complies with U.S. Department of Education regulations if you withdraw from your course whilst in receipt of Title IV funds.

Satisfactory academic progress 

U.S. Students in receipt of Federal Student Aid must make Satisfactory Academic Progress through the course of their studies to mating their eligibility to receive loans.

Consumer information

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama is required by the U.S. Department of Education to provide a variety of Consumer Information disclosures to prospective recipient of Federal Student Aid.

Important information for MFA students 

U.S. Department of Education Federal Regulations state that a student must remain in the country that they are studying in for the duration of their studies to retain loan eligibility.  This means that any students wishing to spend the second year of the MFA in the U.S. (or any non-U.K. country) is not eligible to receive loans.

Any holidays/vacations and trips back to the U.S. (including during the summer between year one and two) are permitted but overseas placements are not.
