The student experience and a collaborative approach to learning are at the centre of Central’s mission; we aim to support all our students to become employable and successful in their careers. All our academic staff are dedicated to high quality teaching and research, and are experts in their own fields, bringing a wealth of industry experience.

Our teaching staff disseminate their work and expertise in many different ways: through both authored and edited books, performances, book chapters, journal articles, designs, productions, software, films, plays, translations, adaptations, masterclasses, and exhibitions.

Central is a specialist college for the performing arts. We offer 14 MA/MFA courses and 3 undergraduate programmes, themselves comprising of 16 separate courses as well as a Research Degree programme and a range of Short Courses.
