Ana Marambio studied modern dance in Chile. She moved to New York in 2004. For the next six years she immersed herself in the experimental dance scene, dancing with several choreographers and groups alongside creating and performing her own works. In 2010 she came to the UK where she founded Nyctolopic, a company working with dancers and actors merging movement into theatre.
Ana completed postgraduate studies in physical theatre at the Royal Holloway University of London. In London, Ana has movement directed for the production of Weak Edward at The Rose Theatre, Bankside. She co-created, choreographed and directed The City Will Crumble with Nyctolopic. Ana is currently completing her MA in Movement: Directing and Teaching at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, while working on a new production for Nyctolopic.
