Movement Experience whilst on the MA/MFA Movement: Directing and Teaching
Placement, 2021, Movement Director, Raya, Hampstead Theatre, Director: Roxana Silbert.
This included bespoke character movement sessions and whole company work. Regular warm-ups and bodywork. Transitions, intimate moments, and choreographed dance within scenes, including the final moment of the piece. Working with a range of ages, adults, and children.
Placement, 2021, Historical Movement (Restoration) BA Acting mentored by Ian Brener.
This included teaching movement to BA Acting second year students. Applying methods and training to period-specific movement and interpreting and teaching period-specific dances. Also included assisting and co-teaching.

Biography
Kiren is studying on the MA Movement Directing and Teaching, due to graduate in 2021. Kiren is a thoughtful and passionate artist who takes a sensitive, person-centred approach to her work. She draws on multiple artistic disciplines and socio-political awareness, exploring inclusive, cultural and social practice. Kiren’s interests include the complexity of identity and the body in performance.
