Profile

Susan Tordoff trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has 30 years experience in the theatre profession. She has worked in the corporate world, devising programmes to help with presentations and bringing dynamism and clarity to voices. Susan started teaching the Voice for Performance - An Introduction and Performance in Presentation open courses at Royal Central in 2013.

Susan’s work outside of Royal Central including working at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts teaching Acting Through Song, devising projects at East 15, and directoring Pericles and Voice and Text.

She spent six years in Singapore working with young actors in training and teaching acting, voice, directing scenes and full productions, and also working in schools, running drama clubs and directing shows.

She has worked with professional actors as voice coach on several productions.

As an actor, Susan has had a varied career in theatre and TV, mostly undertaking radio and film work. Theatres worked at include The Royal Exchange in Manchester, The Stephen Joseph in Scarborough, Salisbury Playhouse, Dundee Rep, Chester, Windsor, Watford and the West End.
