Profile

Nick is the Artistic Director of learning disabled theatre company, Access all Areas. Currently working in partnership with Royal Central for this unique performance making diploma funded by the Leverhulme Trust. The course focuses on devised theatre, site specific and live art with the focus on the politics of the disabled body in performance. Access all Areas are working with graduates from the diploma and enabling them to progress into professional performance practice. Nick directs the diploma students in the annual Exit Festival at Royal Central each summer.

Nick was previously Outreach Officer for Cardiff based, Hijinx Theatre where he developed a new outreach programme throughout South Wales that included creating creative self advocacy projects with the All Wales People First and performing at the opening of the Welsh Assembly.
