Lecturer, Prop Making

Profile

I am an art fabricator, prop maker and academic tutor.

I studied Ba (hons) Technical Effects for the Performing Arts at the London college of fashion.

As well as being an academic tutor at Central I have taught as a VL at the London College of Fashion on the 3d Effects for Performance and Fashion BA and am an External examiner at the Arts University Bournemouth on the Model Making BA. Additionally, I have run private workshops including mould making, casting and life casting and have run workshops for private clients at venues such as the Surgeons Hall Museum in Edinburgh.

While not at Central I run an Art fabrication and Prop making company called howling hands. Through this company I have had the opportunity to make a diverse and conceptually challenging range of work, regularly collaborating with artists and institutions such as Yinka Shonibare CBE and the BBC.
