Rosa is a Movement Artist based in London. From an early age, she had a strong interest in moving, performing and making. During her undergraduate degree in Dance & Culture at University of Surrey she continued to develop her making practice, building up a repertoire of improvised and choreographed live-performances. Her making practice is primarily collaborative; working with artists from different performance genres incorporating mediums such as projection, live music, and film. In 2015 her interest in narrative led her to choreography and movement direction for new writing projects in theatre, and eventually to devising her own work that attempts to cross the mediums of both dance and theatre. Rosa’s creative, teaching and facilitation practices are driven by a desire to understand and explore human behavior, and the power of telling stories with the body. Her movement practice is influenced by Improvisation, Floor-work, and Somatic Practices.
