Gary Bond Memorial Award

The Gary Bond Memorial Award is a bursary awarded annually to a second- or third-year student on the BA (Hons) Acting course. The bursary is normally £750 and applications are invited during the academic year.

Those eligible to apply are students in their 2nd or 3rd year on acting courses whether it is the Acting for Stage, or Acting (Music Theatre), or Acting Collaborative and Devised Theatre) undergraduate course. Applicants will be required to show evidence of severe financial hardship. A payment will only be considered to provide assistance in situations such as the inability to buy food, pay for other living essentials, or as a result of a sudden change in family circumstances. These are just examples; there may, of course, be other equally valid reasons to make an application.
