The Prague Quadrennial 2015 Is Now Accepting Proposals for their Forthcoming Series of Events

The Prague Quadrennial is now accepting proposals from artists, pedagogues and students from across the world for participation in their 2015 events.

The upcoming 13th edition of the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space will be held in Prague from 18-28 June 2015.

Music, Weather, Politics is the central thematic framework of the international scenography research and artistic project SharedSpace: Music Weather Politics, aiming to establish a platform for exploration, redefining and creating performative environments. Organized by the Prague Quadrennial and 11 European institutions, SharedSpace is open for all scenographers, theatre-makers, architects, theorists, art professionals, students and wide public. Symposia, exhibitions and educational modules will be held in 11 European countries intensively from 2013 to 2016.

The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design is the largest scenography event in the world which explores a wide range of scenographic practices – from stage design and costume design to lighting design, sound design and new scenographic practices such as site-specific, applied scenography, urban performance, costume as performance, and much more.   

SpaceLab, the education component of the SharedSpace project which is led by Central’s Principal Lecturer and Course Leader in Creative Producing, Jessica Bowles, consists of a series of workshops, student performances, installations and international collaborations taking place from 2013 – 2016 across several European countries.
