From Friday 1 April – Tuesday 5 April, Central was in exclusive collaboration with Network Releasing and the ICA to present the Pablo Larraín Focus series of events.

To celebrate the release of Pablo Larraín’s latest feature film The Club, the ICA, Network Releasing and Central presented a retrospective of the Oscar-nominated director’s work at the ICA on The Mall in the heart of central London.

The Oscar-nominated Larraín is one of the most acclaimed Latin-American directors of our time.  His films meld incisive political critique with a black humour and serve a brilliant character studies of flawed individuals operating in compromised times.

Alongside the series, Central’s Director of Research, Professor Maria Delgado, hosted a preview screening of The Club, alongside a Q&A, at the Curzon Cinema in Soho on Monday 21st March.

Professor Delgado said:

“I am delighted that Central is part of this important retrospective; Larraín’s work with actors is extraordinary and it’s entirely fitting to be celebrating his achievements as one of the most ambitious directors of our time."
