Central is pleased to announce two new dates for Taster Workshops in November.
The session will provide an overview of the Performance Arts course, followed by a hands-on practical work with Performance Arts alumni Miau Vartiainen and Robert Hesp. The workshop will focus on the interpretation and realisation of the 1960s' experimental performance of the Fluxus art network.
The evening will finish with a Q&A session and refreshments.
On 25 November from 6.30pm – 8:00pm, Central is delighted to welcome back alumnus Matt Trueman, a theatre critic and regular contributor to The Guardian, Time Out, New Statesman and The Stage, who will join MA Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy course leader Dr. Joel Anderson for an evening of discussion focused on theatre reviewing in the age of online reviewing.
In conjunction with central’s MA Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy, this exploratory evening will focus on how criticism forms part of today’s theatre landscape, in London and beyond. There will also be an opportunity for those interested in the MA Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy course to find out more about it.
The event will be followed by a small drinks reception.
As turnout to both of these events is expected to be high, prospective students wishing to attend are encouraged to book in advance in order to secure their place.
