On Friday 18 October, 2013 a group of 2nd year BA (Hons) Acting Musical Theatre students perform alongside Alumna Silvia Baltodano at a gala dinner event to raise funds for a children’s charity.

A Night at the Opera will feature Central students in the luxurious, five-star Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, in association with homeless charity Streetwise Opera, and together with professional singers Verona Chard, founder of ReVamp Opera Company, and former English National Opera tenor Ian Bloomfield.

The exclusive event includes a five course meal with champagne, and takes place in the Landmark’s atmospheric Winter Garden restaurant beneath an eight-story glass roofed atrium.

In keeping with the Hotel’s previous events to raise funds for deserving causes, proceeds from the dinner will be donated to KIDS, a home learning charity for severely disabled children living in nearby Church Street ward.

The spectacular backdrop and excellent acoustics of the Winter Garden will ensure a memorable evening of sumptuous music and food in benefit of a worthy cause.
