Funding

Studying at Central is a long-term investment in your future. It is therefore vital that you organise your finances in advance, and that your budget includes enough money to cover your tuition fees as well as your living costs. It is also important that all your funding is in place before you arrive in the UK, as once you have left your home country it can be very difficult to arrange financial support. Unfortunately as an international student you cannot expect to organise loans or grants from the UK.

UK immigration authorities will not normally give you permission to enter the country unless you show that you have sufficient funds to cover your study costs.

Emergent International Scholar Award

The Emergent International Scholar Award is available to non-EU candidates and will allow successful applicants to benefit from reduced fees in their final year of study, currently payable at Home/EU rather than the overseas rate.

For students from outside the EU, Central is a registered institution with a number of international student loan providers, such as the US Department of Education's Direct Loan Program, enabling international students to obtain loans to cover tuition fees and living costs.
