Motortown

Performed by BA (Hons) Acting students

By Simon Stephens
Director: Angie Langfield

Danny is just back from serving with the British Army in Iraq, and he's damaged and dangerous. His girlfriend doesn't want to know him any more, and the world he once called home is a stinking cesspit. This is a new kind of war, and Danny's the only one fighting it.

This searing drama, as relevant today as when it premiered at the Royal Court in 2006, reveals the horrifying gap between the rhetoric of war and its realities.
