City of Angels
Performed by BA (Hons) Acting > Musical Theatre students.
City of Angels is a musical comedy set in Hollywood in the late 1940s. It weaves together two stories: the ‘real life’ world of a writer trying to turn his book into a screenplay and the fictional ‘movie world’ of a detective drama. Cy Coleman’s jazz score combines with Larry Gelbart and David Zippel’s super witty book and lyrics in this highly acclaimed and Tony Award-winning musical.
