Two actors standing face to face

Sergi López is one of Europe’s most accomplished actors performing in French, Catalan, English and Spanish across both stage and screen.

He will be in conversation with Central’s Director of Research Professor Maria Delgado discussing his career following a special screening of La próxima piel | The Next Skin directed by Isa Campo and Isaki Lacuesta.

About The Next Skin

A teenager arrives in a small town in the Pyrenees. He is supposed to be a person that disappeared some years ago as a child and who was presumed dead. As he arrives, some are suspicious about his true identity while others don’t care… in any case, an emotional whirlwind arises in the small community. The Campo-Lacuesta team return this time with a gripping and intriguing film about the possible effects of a mistaken identity with powerful performances by the cast. The film won several awards at the Málaga Film Festival and Emma Suárez was awarded a Goya for her deeply moving performance.
