In Memory

Remember someone special and help Central train tomorrow's theatre talent.

In Memory

Founded in 1906, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama has nurtured and enriched the talents of extraordinary actors, practitioners and researchers for over one hundred years.

To help future generations benefit from our exceptional training we rely on the generosity of individuals who share our passion for theatre and believe in supporting those talented individuals at the very start of their career.

We are most grateful to all the individuals who have chosen to give to Central in memory of someone who was special to them. They have chosen for their In Memoriam gifts to be allocated for general use which allows us to respond immediately to the most pressing needs of our students. We kindly encourage other donors to do the same in order to ensure their generous gift benefits the area of greatest need.

We welcome in memoriam gifts of all sizes. Each gift makes a difference to the School.

Recognition

If requested by you, we can recognise your gift in a number of ways:

  • In Memoriam gifts of £75 - £1200 are listed on our supporters’ webpage as ‘The Late Miss Smith’
  • In addition to the above, In Memoriam gifts of £1200-£5000 can be included with a short descriptor in our Event Calendar (subject to space)
  • Central invites donors of In Memoriam gifts of over £5000 to organise a Celebration Evening in which a public performance can be dedicated to the memory of the deceased and donors celebrate their memory at a pre-show drinks reception for up to 20 guests
