Central’s Strategic Management Team (SMT) supports the Principal in exercising delegated authority from the Governing Body for the operational management of the School, reviewing activity to ensure it provides an excellent student experience and value for money whilst remaining sustainable; feasible; viable, and of good repute. The group works with consideration to ensure an equitable and inclusive environment at the School. The group meets regularly for strategic debate and to support key decision making, and includes key senior managers both academic and professional, as well as academic representatives from each of the School’s curricular areas.
As with other committees at the School, the SMT is supported by the Governance and Executive Support Office. Forward agenda planning is supported by the Head of Governance and Executive Support, who also nominates the Clerk for the meetings.

Maria Delgado is an academic, critic and curator whose work in the area of Spanish-language and European theatres and Spanish-language film has been published in eight languages. Maria is the Academic Staff Governor on the Board of Governors at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Mark Hunter is an academic with twenty years’ experience of leading innovation in pedagogy, curriculum design, student experience and industry and community engagement in the performing and creative arts.
Ola Adeyemi is the Director of Finance at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Diana Atkinson is the Director of People and Culture at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Hugo Burchell is the Academic Registrar and Director of Academic Services at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
